Today was an uneventful day considering its April Fools, unless you count the snow we got yesterday and the cold temperatures today. Figure 1 shows an overview of today's conditions.

Weather overview for April 1, 2018. |
Temperatures were consistently in the teens and 20s for most of the day with a few wind gusts that really had a bite to them. The wind direction was out of the west for the entire day. Skies were partly cloudy with abundant sunshine throughout the day. The surface map in figure 2 shows that although Wisconsin is sitting in a weather lull, the rest of the country has some interesting precipitation events going on.

There's a long line of low pressure systems sitting over the Rockies and other low pressure systems in the Virginia region as well. These systems are thankfully not producing as much precipitation as their predecessors.
Previous Prediction
Yesterday's prediction was unfortunately accurate, the high pressure dome stayed in the area and temperatures were cooler, although they were more in the 20s than the 30s.
Prediction
Tomorrow, There is some incoming snow and slightly warmer temperatures due to the incoming precipitation. I wish this was an April Fool's joke, but unfortunately its not...
