Less Wind, Still Cold

Current Conditions:

Temperature: 7 degrees, feels like 1 degree
Humidity: 49%
Winds: W 3 mph
Pressure: 1030.8 mb
Visibility: 10 miles

Temperatures started out in the negatives once again, but the wind was lacking so it felt like the temperature was (still cold of course).  It was partly cloudy but mostly sunny until later this evening which gave a perfect view of the sunrise this morning (Figure 1).

Around 12:00 PM temperatures had risen to 7 degrees with no winds and sunny skies. Conditions remained steady until sunset when cloud cover increased to 100% and the winds picked up.

Yesterday's prediction was not accurate but the weather wasn't terribly different either.  The temperature stayed below 10 degrees and there weren't any winds until later this evening.  Without a snow storm, weather tends to be pretty consistent in the winter in Wisconsin.

Tomorrow, I predict temperatures will be a tad warmer, perhaps in the teens and light winds from the west.  The polar air mass that accompanied the high pressure front will still be over Wisconsin so temperatures won't be rising any time soon!
